HAMILTON LAUNCHES 'LAYING OFF' BRUSH FOLLOWING DECORATOR TRIALS
Sunday, 25 Aug, 2013
Leading professional decorating tools brand, Hamilton, has launched a ‘laying off’ brush as part of its new Prestige range, which targets professional painters and decorators and builders. The launch follows trials via the company’s innovative decorator panel system which uses professional decorators to verify its extensive NPD research and development programme. A laying off brush is designed to mitigate brush or roller imprints after conventional paint application and create the ultimate in smooth looks, something that is particularly helpful with water-based paints.
The new Prestige pure synthetic laying off brush was particularly well received by the professional trades people recruited to take part in the quarterly Hamilton decorator panels.
The new Hamilton Prestige laying off brushes, which use the company’s new technology synthetic filaments, have the particular benefit of matching the filament formula of the standard brushes in the Prestige range. This ensures a finish consistent with other areas of a project where conventional brushes have been used, enabling a quicker, easier and better result overall. Preparation for the launch has included a significant investment in research and product development to ensure maximum benefits in use.
All Prestige brushes have waxed beavertail handles, rounded for extra comfort and therefore suitable for longer usage time. The Hamilton Prestige laying off brush comes in a 100mm format and is suitable for storing in vapour boxes.
