The Hamilton student of the year awards recognises those students who have displayed outstanding skill and dedication to painting and decorating. We offer our congratulations to 2 exceptional students from Mid Cheshire College.

Hannah Woods and Liam Brownbill both completed their Level 2 Painting and Decorating, awarded by the college's head of learning, Lorna Mckenzie.

Tutor John Rowlands had this to say about the pair:

Hannah Woods | City & Guilds Level 2 Painting and Decorating

Hamilton student of the year Hannah

"Hannah has been an outstanding student this year and has performed various tasks including preparation, paint, wallpaper and creating decorative finishes. She has boosted a 100% attendance and has continued to impress with her enthusiasm and skills. Hannah is looking forward to progressing  in September when she continues on to the level 3 painting and decorating course."

"Liam has given 100% effort throughout the year, and has made massive improvements since enrolling 2 years ago. He has developed various skills including cutting in, and applying wallpaper neatly. I am looking forward to working with him again next year when he completes his level 3."

Hannah and Liam were presented with a certificate and a Hamilton presentation box full of high quality professional decorating tools. We wish them all the best in their future studies and promising careers as professional painter and decorators.
