HAMILTON STUDENT OF THE YEAR - RIVERSIDE COLLEGE

We have 2 more outstanding students to honour in the Hamilton student of the year awards from Riverside College. Suzy Baines and Katie Rees were both recognised by tutor Ian Murray for their exceptional work this academic year and was quick to praise the pair.

“Suzy has been a pleasure to teach she is hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated. She has a real passion for the trade of Painting & Decorating.  Her attention to detail is exceptional and strives to be the best at whatever she does in both theory and practical.


 She excelled coming 1st, in the Riverside college skills competition, demonstrating her marking out, cutting in and accuracy skills. She was entered in the reginal heat of the CITB Skillbuild competition held at Stockport College and produced some outstanding work competing against the best in the area.


 She is now in the process of setting up her own business and we wish her every success in the future.”

Both received a certificate and a Hamilton presentation pack filled with professional high quality decorating tools for their future studies and careers moving forward.
